We spent most of last week at Smith Lake. Hudson really enjoyed have suckers on the screen porch. He was so much fun on this trip and always keeps us on our toes. Can't believe that my sweet baby will be 2 in September. I have always heard how fast children grow up and I am realizing this more and more everyday!

Team Party with the Stars

 
 
 
 

On Monday night we took Whitt's tball team for their party with the Huntsville Stars. They loved it! One of the things they got to do was run out on the field with a Stars player and stand with them during the National Anthem. It was so sweet to see the little guys out there and they were in awe over the players.

When I first told Whitt what he would be doing, he got really nervous. He looked at me and asked if they were going to play the Stars. It took everything that I had not to laugh, but i promised him that the 5/6 White Sox would not be playing the Stars in Tball!

The kids also enjoyed all of the sugar sweets that they talked us into buying for them! Whitt loved his blue cotton candy!

Tball

 

Whitt loved tball this year. This was his first year and he learned so much from his coaches. He made several new friends and will have memories that he will never forget. I caught this picture after their last game and just had to share it.

Poor Callie

 

Our dear cat Callie had to take the dreaded trip to the vet. Let me start by saying that Callie is 12 years old. She has not been out of our house much at all, so the trip to the vet was not fun for her. Poor thing. So after biting two assistants at the vet, she had to be sedated to get blood work and some other testing done. Callie has a hyperthyroid and is having to be medicated two times a day....geez! She also has some behavioral issues and they want to put her on meds for that. wow. Behavior problems started when Hudson was born. Go figure! lol. We will be trying a plug in to try to help her mood. Can't wait to see if it helps all of us!

Our friends Suzanne and Grant went with us to the Toga party. Look at their awesome Togas!

Toga! Toga!

 

Check out our cool Togas! We attended a 40th Birthday Toga Party and had so much fun. We decided to go in a different direction than the traditional white toga. Michael loves Snoopy so he had a fabric of Snoopy surfing and I love red, black and white, so i went in that direction. We can't wait to attend another fun Toga party!

This picture was taken at Fun Day at First Friends. This is a picture of Whitt and his "friend" Emily. Didn't realize that my child would get a "friend" this early. She lives down the street so they will get to start Kindergarten together. I am still in shock that both kiddos sat together for me to take a picture. lol
