Prayer Request

Please remember Whitt and our family in your prayers on Monday morning. Whitt is having his tonsils out at 8 am on Monday. I am very anxious on how he is going to do, but know that this is going to make him feel much better. I am ready for him to be back to normal and feeling great.

Family Night

Tonight we had family night at church. This year we had two crafts. First was the flower pot nativity scene. Second was a Christmas tree table decoration. We had so much fun making these and I wanted to share some pictures with you.

On Tuesday, I took the boys to Parkway Place mall to see Santa. What a sweet man!
Never would I have ever thought that Hudson would be scared of him, but he was! This is from the child that stalked Elmo at a birthday party! But we made it through it. Enjoy the picture!

Thanksgiving at Smith Lake

What a relaxing Thanksgiving the Marks family had this year. We packed up on Tuesday night and traveled to our favorite little get-a-way, Smith Lake. We were joined on Wednesday by my parents. We had lots of great family time and some GREAT food! The weather was beautiful, so we got out and snapped some pictures.

Hudson's 1st Haircut....

Awwww. My little guy did a great job today getting his haircut.

We handed the camera off to Whitt and he took pictures while Ms. Lane cut his hair. Hudson had a hard time keeping his eyes off himself in the mirror and off Ms. Lane.

No crying, and he actually sat in my lap! Amazing.

Whitt's Haircut

Whitt was such a big boy today getting his haircut. This is the first time that he has EVER let anyone other than his Nina cut his hair. Ms. Lane did a wonderful job with his hair and he was good for her!

What a busy Halloween! Friday morning Whitt's class got to trick or treat around the square, then we had 2 super fun Halloween party to attend. I snapped some pictures at school and then before we left for the parties.

Whitt dressed as Jimmie Johnson this year and Hudson was a precious little duck.

Here are some pictures of Whitt's last soccer game. We are so proud of Whitt for a fun and exciting soccer season. He has learned so much from the coaches and has learned to be on a team. What a great experience.

Did I mention that he received a metal from AYSO, a team tshirt and a trophy? wow.

Hudson...

If you know Hudson, you know that it is impossible to get a picture of him. So, when Whitt grabbed the camera, Hudson stood still and posed for him! Unbelievable! So here's to you Whitt for some awesome photography!

Sampson...

About 3 or 4 weeks ago at Wednesday Night Live the kids learned about Sampson and Delilah. So, they all planted Sampson hair in their plastic cups. Well, poor little Whitt's Sampson hair would not grow. Then all of a sudden, LOOK, he has Sampson hair!!!! He was so excited and we took a picture of it before he cut the hair.

I guess that he is going to get his green thumb from his Mom! haha

1 Year Doctor Visit

Hudson went to see his favorite doctor yesterday! Here are his measurements:

Length: 31 1/4 inches 93%
Head: 48 1/2 inches 95%
Weight: 23.4 pounds 75%

He also got 2 shots.

Dr. Z says that he looks great and we are to come back next month for flu shots.

1st Birthday Party

Here are some pictures from Hudson's first birthday party. It was a great time with family and friends. We had grilled hot dogs and had cake. The older kids fished and the little ones had a large area to run and play. Could not think of a better way to celebrate Hudson's big day!

Hudson's First Day of Mothers Morning Out...

Monday was Hudson's first day of MMO. His teachers were very pleased saying that he didn't cry and was very independent. I am so proud of him!

Poor little guy feel asleep in the car before we even left the church and slept until 3:00!

I hope that Wednesday is just as successful!

Lake Wedowee

We took a nice family trip to Lake Wedowee with a bunch of our Athens friends and had a great time!!!! Whitt loved riding Mr. Doug's boat and Hudson loved wearing his life vest.
