Look at how beautiful the weather is in Santa Rosa! This is hudson's first time to really remember the beach and he loves it! I am digging the upper 60s on the beach!

Hudson had sooo much fun at gymnastics. I think that this is going to be such a fun time for him!

He is trying to do a cartwheel here. They have a mat that shows them where their hand and feet go. Well, she told hudson to put his feet on the footprints and he put his hands down. She said, "no your feet", still put his hands down. She pointed to his feet and said, "what is this?". His reply, "my shoes." hahahhaha

This is after his last haircut. Got a little more cut off than usual this time. I am going to hold off on the big boy haircut for a little longer. Look at how red his hair looks!

This year for Halloween, Hudson was a Dinosaur. This was the best Halloween we have had in a while. Both boys were so easy trick or treating. Hudson LOVED it. He walked all through our neighborhood and would not let anyone hold his bucket (which was AWESOME!). Masks didn't bother him at all! Amazing how much #1 and #2 are different!

Went to one house to trick or treat and the person put a sucker in his bucket. He looked up at her with those big blue eyes and said "Again". It was so funny, but he scored a big handful of suckers, his fav!

Whitt

 

This year, Whitt wanted to dress as Derek Jeter. So, Jeter it was! hahaha

His Nina just happened to have a trip to NYC was some friends, so the costume was super easy this year!

He enjoyed trick or treating with his friends the Shinkunas' and then we were off to a Halloween Party at the Seiberts!

Long Week for Hudson

 

Took Hudson to school on Monday to get a call that by 9 am he was running a low grade fever....great! So he got to visit Dr. Z on Tuesday and became obsessed with taking his temperature. Thank goodness he just had the crud! So he was able to go back to school for his Halloween Party on Friday.

Rockstar Day

 

Whitt finally found a reason to wear his AC/DC shirt to school! They were celebrating drug free week last week and this was for being drug free rocks day!

Kindergarten Field Trip

 

Whitt had his first field trip today. We went to a pumpkin farm and he had a ball! First, they went to the pumpkin school, where they learned about how to grow a pumpkin. Next they went to the petting zoo. They had tons of animals (chickens, turkeys, pigs, goats, horses, donkey, cow, and many more)! Then we were on to the hayride and to pick a pumpkin. I caught this picture of Whitt and a couple of his friends on our way back to play and eat lunch. More pictures to follow.

That's right, the tooth fairy finally visited Whitt. Nina brought home some sleepy medicine for his tooth and pulled it with no tears. He was such a big boy! The tooth fairy left him a new spongebob toothbrush and $5!

We spent most of last week at Smith Lake. Hudson really enjoyed have suckers on the screen porch. He was so much fun on this trip and always keeps us on our toes. Can't believe that my sweet baby will be 2 in September. I have always heard how fast children grow up and I am realizing this more and more everyday!
