The Farm
Last Sunday, Whitt and Papa planted their garden at the David Farm. Hudson enjoyed it, but got very tired watching them do all the work.
They planted tomatoes, squash, cantaloupe, watermelon, and cucumbers. All of Whitt's favorites! They also planted a cabbage plant that he got at preschool.
Not sure that Whitt is destined to be a farmer, but he enjoyed his sunny afternoon on the farm.

AAAHHHHHH....Fresh Air...
We opened the windows a few days ago and Callie and Hudson shared the dining room window. This could be the closest they have been together without drama.

Just a Swingin'......Swingin'
Thank goodness for the warm weather! We have been getting outside more and the boys LOVE getting to swing in the backyard. Hudson loves it so much that he just passes out in the swing.
On one end of the swing set is a basketball goal, Whitt and Michael are shooting ball.

Visiting Dr. Zbell...
These pictures were taken by Whitt at Hudson re-check with Dr. Zbell. The boys love her and Whitt wanted to capture all the events with my camera. What a hoot.

Whoo Hoo Nina is Home!
After 3 weeks and 3 days in the hospital, Nina is home and has been for the past couple of weeks. She is doing great and we are so happy that she is feeling better! Thank you all for all the calls and prayers!
Whitt took this picture of Nina at her house the first week she was home.

Real Mothers...
I received this email today from a Thirty-One friend and I love it!
Enjoy.
>"REAL MOTHERS
Real Mothers don't eat quiche; they don't have time to make it
Real Mothers know that their kitchen utensils are probably in the sandbox
Real Mothers often have sticky floors, filthy ovens and happy kids
Real Mothers know that dried play dough doesn't come out of shag carpet
Real Mothers don't want to know what the vacuum just sucked up.
Real Mothers sometimes ask "Why me?" and get their answer when a little voice says, "Because I love you best."
Real Mothers know that a child ' s growth is not measured by height or years or grade...It is marked by the progression of Mama to Mom to Mother...
The Images of Mother
4 YEARS OF AGE - My Mommy can do anything!
8 YEARS OF AGE - My Mom knows a lot! A whole lot!
12 YEARS OF AGE - My Mother doesn't really know quite everything.
14 YEARS OF AGE - Naturally, Mother doesn't know that, either.
16 YEARS OF AGE - Mother? She's hopelessly old-fashioned.
18 YEARS OF AGE - That old woman? She's way out of date!
25 YEARS OF AGE - Well, she might know a little bit about it.
35 YEARS OF AGE - Before we decide, let's get Mom's opinion.
45 YEARS OF AGE - Wonder what Mom would have thought about it?
65 YEARS OF AGE - Wish I could talk it over with Mom
The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman must be seen from in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides.
The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mole, but true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul
It is the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows, and the beauty of a woman with passing years only grows!
Enjoy.

Just another day in paradise....
well sorta.
Mother finally came home from the hospital, we are soooo glad to have Nina home. We went and spent the day with her and she is feeling great. She is eating and everything seems to be going great with her.
As for me, I am crazy.
Tonight about 7:45 Whitt had a Popsicle. After eating it, he came running in the living room and told Michael and I that he had swallowed the stick. He was bright red and was coughing like crazy. I flipped out! We searched and searched for the stick and found nothing. So we decided that he would need to go and be checked out at the Emergency room. We walk outside and he starts running like a wild animal in the backyard screaming that he didn't want to go to the hospital. I am running after him, I am sure the neighbors think we are mental. We get to the hospital, get an x-ray and was told that nothing showed up. As the doctor walks out, Whitt throws his arms in the air and said, "Well, I guess that I did throw it away!" It took everything I had to not spank the child right there.
Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Easter Pictures
The Saturday before Easter we had pictures with Kelley at Big Spring Park. She has given me a sneak peek of the pictures and I wanted to share them.
Please go and check out Kelley's blog. She is a great photographer and you will love her work!
